Who We Are
Hi! I’m Michele—a certified sound healing practitioner, musician, educator, soul midwife, and hospice volunteer with a deep passion for the transformative power of sound, presence, and compassionate care.
After many years as an early childhood music educator and founder of Joyful Sounds Music Studio, my path gradually evolved toward work rooted in healing, connection, and supporting the emotional and spiritual dimensions of care. That journey led me to the Globe Institute of Sound Healing, where I studied the relationship between sound and consciousness and deepened my understanding of sound as a powerful tool for relaxation, restoration, and well-being—particularly within dementia and end-of-life care.
As both a certified sound healing practitioner and trained soul midwife (akin to death doula), I’m especially drawn to creating spaces that invite calm, reflection, connection, and peace. My work has been shaped not only through formal training, but also through personal experience supporting a loved one with dementia and through volunteering as a bedside musician in hospice care. Again and again, I’ve witnessed how sound can gently calm the nervous system, foster connection, and bring moments of comfort and presence during life’s most tender and sacred transitions.
In my sessions, I weave together sound healing, meditation, breath awareness, and intuitive presence to create deeply restorative experiences for individuals and groups. Through Soul Song, I offer private sessions, sound baths, workshops, corporate wellness experiences, festival offerings, and supportive care experiences designed to nurture the mind, body, and spirit in a wide variety of settings.
Whether you’re seeking rest, clarity, healing, connection, or simply a moment of stillness in a busy world, it’s an honor to share this work with you.
